Accounting Co-ordinator

This role provides the accounting support for Solve including book-keeping, payroll, invoicing, banking, project cost reporting and basic management accounting. It will provide both the technical accounting administration to the business as well as timely, relevant and insightful reports to facilitate the smooth & profitable running of the business.

Role and Responsibilities

This role provides the accounting support for Solve including book-keeping, payroll, invoicing, banking, project cost reporting and basic management accounting.  It will provide both the technical accounting administration to the business as well as timely, relevant and insightful reports to facilitate the smooth & profitable running of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and send invoices to clients
  • Reconciliation to ensure accounts are accurate
  • Capture and manage receipts for expenses with precision
  • Manage account emails
  • Transactional queries
  • Credit control
  • Managing service billing/renewals
  • Office supplies
  • Manage Direct Debits
  • Paying suppliers/services
  • Work with Project Coordinator to monitor & report on project costs
  • Produce simple Management Accounts
  • Produce & maintain sales funnel and cash flow forecast
  • Document, review and improve processes to enhance efficiency

Skills and qualifications:

  • AAT Level 3 or equivalent desirable. Business/Finance HND or degree accepted
  • 1+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with accounting software (preferably Xero, Google Sheets)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in maths and English
  • Confident in the use of technology
  • Problem solving skills
  • Driven to Continuous Improvement and self-development
  • The ability to use own initiative
  • Detail-orientated
  • Flexible and open-minded
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work well in a fun team

Salary Details

  • Part-time or Full-time positions availible 16-40 hours per week with paid 30 min lunch break included
  • Estimated £24K to £30k – Salary depends on experience and the value you can bring to Solve
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Location: Office – Newquay, TR8 4GZ
