SEO Specialist Job Description

  • Position/s available: SEO Specialist / SEO Account Manager / Head of SEO / Technical SEO
  • Location:  Hybrid working may be considered, with a preference for candidates based in the Nansledan, Newquay studio.
  • Type: Full-time

As an SEO Account Manager and Specialist at Solve, you’ll develop and implement effective SEO strategies to boost clients’ online presence. This role includes managing client relationships, overseeing SEO projects, conducting keyword research, optimising content, performing SEO audits, and analysing performance data. You will ensure projects meet goals within set timelines and budgets, contributing to the overall success of our clients’ digital marketing efforts.

  • Develop Strategies: Research, plan, and implement effective SEO and internet marketing strategies for diverse clients.
  • Client Management: Build and manage client relationships to ensure outstanding results.
  • Project Management: Oversee SEO client accounts with bespoke long-term and short-term strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work with a team of SEO and web experts, and collaborate with external companies.
  • SEO Best Practices: Research and apply onsite, offsite, technical, local, video SEO, and content marketing strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct SEO audits, provide technical documentation, and use tools like Google Analytics to report monthly campaign performance.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to sector thought leadership and develop Solve’s technical strategy.

  • SEO Savvy: Experience in SEO, content marketing, and growth hacking. Knowledge of organic SEO, Google Analytics, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, RankMath, Yoast, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.

Desirable Experience

  • Internet Marketing: Broad understanding of digital channels, including paid and social media.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Educational Background: A degree in a related field is desirable.

Experience

  • SEO experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • We don’t focus on years of professional experience; the proof is in your portfolio. We may also ask you to complete a test task. We’d like to see examples of any work you have undertaken in the digital area, including optimisation, KWR, audits, optimised content, results, and anything related that would contribute to our customers’ online success.

Salary Details

  • Full-time position 40 hours per week with paid 30 min lunch break included
  • Estimated £25,000 to £40,000 – Salary depends on experience and the value you can bring to Solve.
