Project Coordinator Job Description

  • Position: Project Coordinator
  • Location: Nansledan, near Newquay
  • Type: Full-time

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our Project Managers in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating various project activities, maintaining documentation, and communicating with stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.

  • Project Support: Assist Project Managers in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Scheduling: Organise meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes.
  • Coordination: Manage and coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Tracking: Monitor project progress and update timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks to support the project team.
  • Quote Support: Collaborate with the Business Coordinator during Stage 1 to support quotes.
  • Project Management: Responsible for the project from ‘Go live’ to ‘Project closeout.’
  • Resource Management: Accountable for project timing plan and resource booking.
  • Work Packages: Issue work packages to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Milestones: Create and manage project milestones.
  • Status Management: Ensure projects are on time and within budget.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly updates on the overall project portfolio status and create project summary reports.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and address missed targets and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
  • Customer Sign-Offs: Manage customer sign-offs with SMEs and liaise with the Business Coordinator on out-of-scope requests.
  • Project Handover: Ensure a smooth handover to the Business Coordinator at ‘Post-project.’Qualifications and Education Requirements

Ideal Candidate Qualities and Skills

  • Proficiency in math and English
  • Intermediate Google Docs and Sheets – creating templates, spreadsheets & client documentation.
  • Knowledge of project planning
  • Comfortable with the use of technology (IT, apps etc.)
  • Desirable – competent with Teamwork projects & desk

Experience

  • Project Management: 1 year (preferred)

Salary Details

  • Full-time position 40 hours per week with paid 30 min lunch break included
  • Estimated £25,000 to £30,000 – Salary depends on experience and the value you can bring to Solve

Ability to Commute/Relocate

  • Newquay, TR8 4UX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
