Following on from the accolade of being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work in 2024, we are thrilled to announce that this week we were voted as one of Cornwall’s Best Places to Work 2025

We’re absolutely delighted that our commitment to creating a workplace where people genuinely love coming to work has been acknowledged once again.

The awards programme, which began in 2023, is promoted by Business Cornwall in partnership with Best Companies Group. This regional survey and awards programme was designed to identify, recognise and honour the best places of employment in the county of Cornwall.

What Makes Solve Special

At Solve, we’ve always believed that creating an exceptional workplace is essential to delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a B Corp-certified digital optimisation agency, we are beyond thrilled to receive a workplace recognition for the second year running. Lawrence Harmer, Founder and CEO of Solve says,

Being named one of Cornwall’s Best Places to Work 2025 is a testament to our team’s dedication to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. We’re particularly proud that 75% of the evaluation came directly from our team’s feedback, which shows we’re living our values every day.”

What Sets Solve Apart in the Workplace?

At Solve, we pride ourselves on being approachable and fostering a friendly atmosphere for both clients and employees alike.

Holistic Wellbeing Approach

Our beautiful, light-filled office space is designed with wellbeing in mind, featuring ergonomic workstations, standing desks, calming music, essential oils, and plenty of greenery. We complement this environment with regular yoga sessions, sea swims, and a focus on proper posture and movement throughout the workday.

Community-Centered Culture

We consider our team, clients, suppliers, community and the environment in everything we do. We ensure that, whilst we’re boosting rankings and crafting high-performance websites, we’re also working towards making the world a happier, healthier place. We foster genuine connections through shared lunches, pub clubs, and team-building activities that go beyond typical workplace interactions. We celebrate personal milestones, birthdays, and achievements because we value our team members as whole people, not just employees.

Professional Growth & Empowerment

Each team member at Solve receives ongoing opportunities for learning and development, with the autonomy to shape their role and contribute to company direction. We believe in empowering our team to think and act like owners, encouraging innovation and creativity at every level.

Sustainable Values

As a B Corp, we integrate sustainable practices throughout our operations – from carbon-neutral initiatives to compost bins and renewable energy. We extend this ethos to our client work, helping them adopt more sustainable digital practices as well (such as secure, superfast green hosting).

Work-Life Harmony

Working at Solve means you’re working for one of Cornwall’s best places to work 2025 – a fact we’ve always known, but it’s amazing to have achieved this official recognition. We do things differently here at Solve, and focus on helping our team to have life satisfaction, not just job satisfaction alone. The holistic approach means our team comes to the office energised, inspired and ready to get creative.

We’ve moved beyond the concept of “work-life balance” to create true work-life harmony, where professional fulfilment enhances personal wellbeing rather than competing with it. Our flexible work arrangements and wellness initiatives support this integration.

Looking Forward

Solve will be honoured as one of Cornwall’s Best Places to Work 2025 in the upcoming issue of Business Cornwall which will come out in the first week of May. We’re humbled by this recognition and motivated to continue raising the bar for workplace excellence. Perry Hughes, our Head of Development shares:

“Since I started working at Solve I’ve seen a HUGE improvement in not only my professional life, but personal as well. I genuinely look forward to going to work every day,”

We’re always looking for talented individuals who share our values to join our award-winning team. If you’re interested in being part of a workplace that prioritises people, planet, and performance in equal measure, we’d love to hear from you.
